I’m Sam Baskin, and I’m a mechanical engineering student at Georgia Tech. While my major is very STEM-focussed, I try to balance out my life by being involved in creative extracurriculars.
I interned at a small company called VeriSolutions for two summers, and completely fell in love with startup culture. While there, I worked on many different projects such as creating tutorial videos, infographics, and mailers. Additionally, I used CSS and HTML to help develop a new optimized company website.
Also, I was able to gain experience with design by working on my high school’s magazine, The C&G. While there, I learned a lot about magazine design, and created several infographic-based layouts.
I hope to continue working on creative projects throughout college, and find a way to combine my passions for startups and creativity.
